Voice acting meme: Dr. Seuss by JacobDSArt Voice acting meme: Dr. Seuss by JacobDSArt
Here is a little something that popped in my mind. Voice actors for characters from Dr. Seuss himself. I hope you agree with my choices

Sam-I-Am voiced by Rob Paulsen. I thought maybe Mr. Paulsen can do a good job as Sam-I-Am after hearing some voices for him. In my mind I could hear Mr. Paulsen doing his voice similar to one he did for Yakko in Animaniacs.

The Lorax voiced by Ed Asner. After hearing the way his voice was described, I thought of having someone with a gruff voice doing the voice of the Lorax. I thought Ed Asner was perfect believing he can do a voice similar to his voice of Carl Fredrickson in Pixar's Up.

The Grinch voiced by Jim Cummings. Picking a VA for the Grinch proved to be a bit tricky, but I decided on Jim Cummings because some characters he does tend to be grumy, so I imagine him doing his voice similar to Cat from CatDog.

Yertle the Turtle voiced by John Cleese. Another challenge. I didn't know who would do a good voice for Yertle, then I remembered King Harold from Shrek 2, so I started to imagine Mr. Cleese doing Yertle in that voice.

Horton the Elephant voiced by Bill Faggerbakke. He was no challenge at all. After hearing some voices of Horton like in the Looney Tunes version of Horton Hatches the Egg, I thought someone who's known for doing deep voices was perfect, which is why I think Mr. Faggerbakke can do Horton similar to Patrick Star from SpongeBob or Bulkhead from Transformers: Animated.

The Cat in the Hat voiced by "Weird Al" Yankovic. I couldn't resist. I thought about who can do the Cat in the Hat when I remembered some of the things the Cat does are almost Weird Al material, so maybe this role would be perfect for him. I imagine his voice being similar to Dr. Screwball Jones from Wander Over Yonder or Cheese Sandwich in MLP.

Do you agree with my suggestions? Are there any you think would be perfect for other Seuss characters? Just let me know! :D

Any Seuss character you think she'd be perfect to play? Maybe Mayzie?

He would. :XD:

I quite like Rob Paulsen as Sam I Am, Ed Asner as The Lorax and Bill Fagerbakke as Horton. :)

I actually just thought of one for David Tennant remembering he's your favorite. What if he voiced Sylvester McMonkey McBean from The Sneetches?

Hmmm good choices my luck for the Lorax would have been Seth Rogen though

I mean if he’s going to be pumba in the lion king remake I think he would do a good job as our little orange friend

It's funny you should say that cause Mr. Rogen did star in a Seuss adaptation, "Horton Hears a Who."

How about my other choices? I couldn't resist thinking Weird Al can be the Cat in the Hat.

He seems like a guy that would voice a cranky, lanky monster

Maybe. He'd sound like a more intelligent Ed from The Lion King.

Yeah, even though Alakaaz is pretty incompetent at what he does, hes still a guy who knows a thing or two to make several monsters to bash your skull in
